Zee 'Shredded Diesel'

How and when did you start training?

I started weight training when I was 13 year’s old. Before weight training I was a skinny kid who was into kickboxing. I wanted to gain strength when I kicked and punched so I joined a local gym to get stronger and buildup, but I ended up loving the weight room more than kickboxing,I got determined to carry on researching how to bodybuild and enhance my physique.

How did you start working with Timbaland?

I met Timbaland through a friend of mine that I used to train back in London. A year before I started to train my friend, Timbaland had seen his physique and how he looked before I trained him, he was impressed by my work. Timbaland asked to meet me for a consultation when he was in London working with Madonna and Justin Timberlake on the record '4 minutes save the world'. After the consultation that we had in the recording studio, Timbaland asked me if it was ok to fly me over to Miami to get him ready for the MTV Music Awards that was being held in Las Vegas. The MTV Awards was 8 weeks out and Timbaland was real out of shape at the time I met him. I agreed to take his offer and fly out there to get him ready. I looked at it as a challenge.

How do you manage to stay motivated and consistent?

I manage to stay motivated by taking breaks and laying off my workout and diet after every 16 weeks. I take a month or 2 off from gym and dieting. It’s a break that I use not only to recover my body from all the pounds I’m lifting in the weight room and dieting I’m doing (Now this is going to sound crazy) but I also use this break to get out of shape! Then I challenge myself to see how fast I can make a better and stronger comeback. I start feeling hungry to get back in the gym...  the month or two off also makes me miss dieting and eating clean.

How long do you usually spend in the gym?

No more than 1 hour

What is your training routine like?

My training split doesn’t dount days... for example I don’t ever think that Monday is chest day and Friday legs day. I just do 3 Days on 1 Day Off and keep it going like that.

What is your diet when trying to get in peak condition?

30min Before Breakfast:
10g L-Glutamine


Meal 1:

  • 500ml Egg White
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 100g Dry Oat Meal
  • 1 Litre of Water Mixed With Crystal Light For Flavour
  • 2 Pills Of Norateen From LA Muscle

*3 Hours after my meal I workout: Before my workout I Take A PreWorkout Energiser along With 2 Pills Of Norateen And 4 pills of Vasculator From LA Muscle

After My Work Out:

  • 50g Protein Bio Activator From LA Muscle
  • 100g Complex Carbs
  • 10g L-Glutamine
  • 10g Creatine


Meal: 2

  • 200g Lean steak
  • 2 cups Rice
  • Cup broccoli
  • 1 litre of water mixed with crystal light


Meal 3

  • 200g Chicken breast
  • 200g sweet potato
  • Cup broccoli
  • 1 litre of water mixed with crystal light


Meal 4

  • 200g chicken breast
  • Cup rice
  • Cup broccoli
  • 1 litre of water mixed with crystal light


Meal 5

  • 300g Fish
  • Cup broccoli
  • 1 litre of water mixed with crystal light


Meal 6

  • 50g Protein Bio Activator From LA Muscle

Do you count calories or weight your food?

Yes I do. I tend to also play round with my carb intake (Carb Rotation) 1 day 100g carb 2nd day 100g 3rd day 200g carb 4th day 300g carb and then I go back down to 100g carb and repeat.

How do you deal with cravings for junk foods,
sweets and salty food?

I tend to have 1 cheat meal once a week. This way I cna have whatever I craved for so I can get back on my diet I'm more focused. This helps me stay motivated in my diet for longer periods time. Also it tends to shock the body, which will start to speed your metabolism faster.

What is your greatest bodybuilding/fitness
achievement so far?

Winning The British Jr. Championships back in 2005

What are your future goals?

Coming Up With My Own DVD and TV programs all related to health and fitness.

Ronnie Coleman, Dorian Yates and Kevin Levrone

What is the number one philosophy you live by?

What top 3 tips would you give to anyone

  1. Don’t ever try to go super heavy in the gym to impress your surroundings. ((Reps Build Muscle)) Concentrate on your self.
  2. This sport needs patients nothing comes over night or two.
  3. You can work out all day long. 70% of how your physique looks comes through diet. (( You Are What You Eat))
