The first time I came into contact with a gym was in high school.... we had weight-training and I was a Freshmen.. , there was two of us and the rest where juniors and seniors. My freshman buddy challenged me to lift on the bench press.... there was 225 on it. So me not knowing anything and being a first degree black belt I figured WTH this is nothing. So he helps me on lift off... It goes down easy.... getting it up.. was another story. I'd say I was on my way up, about 3-4 inches off my chest when the worst thing that can happen to a guy in the gym...The plates started to slide off the barbell, lol. There were no clamps on it... so everyone heard that infamous sound of plates smacking the ground... first thing they did was turn around and say.... “You damn freshmen” lol.
After that I didnt go back to weight training for a while... ha.
Actually not a dumbbell but a barbell.... never will forget it, smh.
I stay motivated for my wife, family, etc. I got into working out just to stay looking decent and interesting for my wife.... then other things came along... modeling, etc.
So now it’s almost like a job... but I love work ;-).
In the gym... its being able to lift... what folks my size “shouldn’t” be able to lift... love seeing folks reactions when I put up 3-4 plates on something that a typical person can only do 1 ½ to 2 plates on... Im not your typical person and I'm always pushing myself... its the only way to get to the next level.
Outside the gym, my family... just about the same rule applies there, a lot of folks me and my wife’s age “shouldn’t” have the things we have already... 2 homes, 2 cars... lovely kids... and together for 11 plus years... thats good team work there...
I want to spend 2-3 hours... lol but that doesn’t happen. The normal time is an hour or 1.5 hours and thats because I bring my kids (in house daycare at my gym, No Excuses Gym) and try to get out the gym at a decent time to get them ready for the next day.
My rep range:10-15, always heavy... cant and just dont feel right doing lightweight

Same as my typical diet. Normally a protein shake plus fruit for breakfast, lunch either whatever the wife cooked the night before, chicken breast, etc. With fruit and dinner... whatever the wife cooks... lol. I love working out and looking fit but in all... I'm a typical dude when it comes to that... not to the extreme with it all.
Universals Animal paks... Got the Animal Cut, Animal Pak, Animal Nitro, Animal M-stak...
Love their product... Decided im sticking with these guys for a while... And Whey protein's a must.
I try to fight it... but like i said.. Im a typical guy so yes, I’ll go cop a Twix or some fries or something.
How many folks I'm trying to take care off of what im trying to do...How many jobs im trying to provide to family members and friends
Incredible Hulk strength,but... still have my looks LOL, he can keep that.
