Are you or have you ever been a cardio
bunny and avoided the free-weight section?

Man, just the thought of cardio wears me out. I have never been a fan of cardio. You will find me throwing weight around all the time!

How long do you spend in the gym during
a typical workout?

I'm there a little over an hour after warm-up, lifting, and stretching.

What are you most proud of?

There are goals that I have set and achieved, but more than pride I've felt blessed and honored to be given the opportunities that I have been given and to be recognized for my perseverance.

What’s the longest break you’ve had from training?

I would say no longer than two weeks. I go crazy if I don't
get in the gym, it’s my sanctuary.

Have you had any obstacles or setbacks towards achieving your goal physique?

Yes, I have had plenty of obstacles and setbacks, however the way that you deal with those things is what makes you a success.

We know consistency is key, what tips would you give to anyone struggling to stay consistent?

My number one tip to anyone is to set short term goals. For example,
"I will do cardio three times this week."

How do you deal with cravings for junk foods,
sweets and salty food?

I think its ok to have a little something if you are craving it. Its hard to completely cut everything out, you can drive yourself crazy!

Who are your favourite, athletes or fitness models?

To pick a fitness model, that is a tough one, there are so many inspiring, great people in the fitness industry! But I grew up playing hockey so my favorite athlete is Alexander Ovechkin. Not only is he a leading goal scorer, but he will not hesitate to throw his gloves off and mix it up! He could beat Sidney Crosby any day. :)

What types of cardio have worked best for you?

Since I'm not a fan of cardio, I like to do things that keep my mind off of it,
like kickboxing or Muay Thai.

What is your training routine like?

I switch up my routine pretty often. I am trying to put on muscle, so all of my reps low, around 8-10. I warm up for 20mins to get my blood flowing and end with some good foam rolling and dynamic stretching. Right now my days are:

Monday: Quads and Hamstrings

Tuesday: Shoulders, Abs

Wednesday: Back and Chest

Thursday: Butt and Calves, Abs

Friday: Biceps and Triceps

Saturday: Yoga, Abs

Sunday: Off

What does your diet consist of?

My diet is well balanced with a small amount of supplementation and the
rest is a trade secret ;)

What supplements would you use/recommend if any?

I love BSN Products! They just released AminoX that has BCAAs and is a great post workout. I also recommend their N.O-Xplode for a killer pump during your workout.

What 3 tips would you give to any woman wanting to get a feminine, CutandJacked physique like yours?

1. Set short-term goals
2. Eat to workout, don't workout to eat.
3. Don't lose sight of having fun!
